spring bursteth forth!

quick little walk through the backyard
offered scent & sight for the
woman behind the camera lens.

the aroma of star jasmin
is positively intoxicating..

old rusty wheel barrow i refuse to give up for too far gone, angel-vine taking over the world, and beautiful vivid red blossoms i can't for the life of me at the moment writing this - remember the name! my brain has hiccuped!
☺ geraniums !!

lantana .. the only purple in the back yard.
thank you very much.
not a fan of purple.
but in the yard it's okay
in small doses. wink.

side yard..

other side yard  ..
gravel path to the cottage
and evelyn the pooch.

lush spring.

love,
"jAne"

  2. elizabeth .. i wanted an english country garden in the suburbs. kind of thinking i've succeeded. truth be told though - i pointed and the hubs planted. i did very little of the actual labor involved.

  15. Thank you for these lovely photos. We got snow today, but I know I'll soon be able to get back into the gardens. I want to make more deliberate spaces - I love your walking path back to the guest cottage.

    Its all beautiful!

  18. deanna .. that gravel path is actually one of my (many) favorite features. not too fond of straight lines in the gardens .. in the house? yes. but not in the gardens.
