Sherry profoundly simply idea for everyone... I too choose joy.xoxo,Vera
sometimes the most profound is laced in simplicity. :)
Joy really is a choice, isn't it?
being that HE is our true joy, it should be so 'difficult', hm? and yet, there are times when i'm overcome and it's hard to see through the fog. i realize with more certainty and greater clarity, that yes, it is indeed a choice. :)
A few years ago, Joy was my word for the year. It is amazing how your life changes when you choose joy. It doesn't make everything and everyone better or your life an unending life of ease. What it did for me was to change MY perspective about everything. I choose joy daily. This doesn't mean I am silly or putting my head in the sand, it means that I am looking to Him for everything, to be my everything, to give joy.Lots of love....Deanna
thank you for clarifying this for me and others, deanna. changing one's perspective isn't about a silly and superficial attitude about one's state of being. looking to HIM for e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g and giving Him glory for all that and more. big hug.
In Thy presence is fullness of joy!! Ps 16:11 I too have been tryin to dwell on joy. Better yet dwelling on the God of joy!!! I have even left out my Christmas stuff that says Joy on it!!! Sherry this is a very very good thing to choose. Lord bless you in your choice!!! ( ;-) and thank you for the precious reminder!!)~tammy
the choice is daily. some days i miss the opportunity.
I understand. completely.~tammy
Yup. Every day.
sometimes putting the bed covers over my head ispreferable .. but that dog that rescued me gets me up every morning and her smile (yes, she smiles)makes me want to move forward. silly, huh?
joyjoyjoyi know it is part of being disciplined to choose joy over the other.blessings,d
