every day a gift..

Lucy Maude Montgomery in her classic, Anne of Green Gables book said, "Isn't it nice to think that tomorrow
is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?"

"To every thing there is a season,
and a time for every purpose under heaven."
Ecclesiastes 3.1

"Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning;
great is Thy faithfulness."
Lamentations 3.22-23

are you flitting through life? or ...
are you savoring the moments of your day?
let today be the day you seek
His presence ... and to
embrace the little things which
add up to big things which
grow your heart
to overflowing.
do that, ok?
with me.

    1. too often we flitter the moments..or waste time on activities that create an idle meaning, or people who actually aren't healthy for your life.

  4. Love what you shared. So true! My dear father used to [jokingly] say that he only made two mistakes a day - no more. After that he started over again!

  9. Hi Sherry :)

One of my New Year resolutions was to savor the moments even more than I already do :)

I just spent most of today reading your whole blog. It was a very enjoyable time spent learning more about you. And as you've asked many times in the past... I will pray for you to get your baby back.

Many hugs and Happy New year!
    xoxo,
    rue

  10. Yes, yes, and yes again! This is a personal saying of mine, "Everyday is a gift"...because it really is! Waking up alive is a miracle! We were created to enjoy the sweetest of fellowship with the lover of our soul while we walk this journey to our true home. And as if this isn't enough, these verses should make our hearts rejoice every more...Ephesians 1:3-14.
    Blessings...

PS: Dogs help us stop and smell the roses more don't they ;)
