evelyn.

spending time out of doors with
evelyn the precious pooch
& her loppy-sided face,
a photo-shoot ensued.
the pics speak for themselves.
no words needed...
other than awwww.

she's an english cream golden retriever..
her loppy-sided face is a birth anomaly.
11 years old now and needing helpies getting up on surfaces including into the car, she was 6.5 when we rescued her. she's safe, well cared for, loved. we adopted her 2 months before our daughter rejected and blocked us from her life. we don't know really who rescued who for God brought her into our lives at such a hard time and at just the right time. she's all love. and we give it right back. she's our comfort dog. still.

she looks quite content sleeping on the couch ...

thankful for this big ball of fluff.

"Drop thy dews of quietness
Till all our strivings cease.
Take from our souls the strain & stress,
And let our ordered lives confess
The beauty of Thy peace."
John Greenleaf Whittier

  3. She looks precious. Amazing how God know's just what we need. My youngest son needed us to keep his cat for a while when he moved, Our oldest son decided we were not going to be part of his life or our grandson's life anymore a year or so before. That little cat followed me everywhere sat on my lap or next to me and it was so comforting. Have a great Thanksgiving! Prayers sent your way.
