vintage camp in the redwoods.

. . and while the days were filled there was time taken to relax with feet up and comfy blanket on with cute crocs peeking out and rain falling and great view(s) of fellow boles aero owners
like the one across the stream.

thankful for an well made vintage style marine grade awning.
we kept dry in the storm's force.

fog in the mornings .. my personal favorite

then rain. again.

and cozy.

pour-over brewing

our friend Rick's '47 boles

moss on fences separating camp sites

beautiful setting

tall trees a few miles from the shore

a little boy taking his pup for a walk in the rain,
stopping to jump in the puddles - every puddle

warmth of safe spaces out of the elements

comfy spot for reading

she's a beauty

our favorite - of the many we've owned

that's all folks.

You're a beauty, too, even behind the camera!

What a lovely weekend, rain and all.

Delightful post!! Each and every photo...each and every word! Again, you have made me want to go camping. (And, believe me, that says a LOT!) Your way looks absolutely lovely.

Now that IS a nice getaway. Aaahhhh, camping. Some of our best memories for this family revolve around our trailer and the places it went in the 90's. Wish I had it today!

That trailer and I are the same age!

Sherry, it sounds like you had a very nice time in The Redwoods. I really liked the indoor pics, they were cozy and pretty. And that's the way I make my coffee every day, brewing a single cup - isn't it the best? I love that picture of the child taking a walk in the rain. And of course, the last one of you. I have a Canon too! Lovely pictures, Sherry.
