quiet awe.

yesterday, the hubs and i took off on a
spontaneous off roading trip in the Sierra.
many pictures were taken but as i began
to upload and edit, this particular shot
brought with it a sense of awe.

we were the only people on the trail ..
an easy route * 4wd not required.
a picnic in chilly temps ..
no sound but our breathing ..
we whispered because
it simply seemed the right thing.

  5. I've been wanting to visit nature lately, Sherry. This picture surely says "nature." How nice that you took a road trip up to the mountains. And I have to tell you, "Be Still" is one of my most beloved verses. : )
